The Fautras Provan / Promax concept  

With the Provan and Promax forward facing front unload trailers the horses enter the trailer via the rear doors, the floor is slightly lowered to make the entrance inviting, the rear doors can be held into position via stays and used to channel the horse in and reduce the risk of them pulling off to the side of the trailer instead of going straight in. Generally one a horses head and neck are in and they are at the point they need to step in the rest of the body follows, in fact we have had much success with horses who have been 'tricky' to load, for horses that rush out backwards it it also much easier to quickly shut one door behind them than it is to put up a ramp, with the risk of the horse bolting out backwards.  Once the horse is in the rear door can be shut behind, allowing much safer loading of the second horse, for both horse & handler. (see pictures  below) especially useful if you have a horse that kicks.  

Please not both front and rear ramps are available on this trailers as an optional extra, but not often needed !! the Provan and Promax can also come with two front unload exits and lockable saddle storage.

Please note, the dimensions for the Provan Club & Provan are the same, the only difference between the two models is that there is less internal side padding in the Provan Club and this model is only available in White (although the personalised trim stripes are still available FOC)
