We take pride in the standard of horse trailer that we supply for hire, and as such all our trailers are of a similar condition, all are less than 2 years old, with rot proof flooring, independent suspension,  front unload ramps to  the UK near side and for your horses safety all are all fitted with equities, each trailer is provided with an approved security devise, and all our trailers are  tracker chipped and ultra violet marked.

A) Bateson Ascot  or Deauville

What do you need to have to hire one of the above horse trailers

  • You need to be between the age of 18 & 70 years

  • Hold a UK current photo driving licence (both parts required) showing no more than 6 points.

  • You will need 2 proof of address, by means of officially utility bills, such as gas, electricity, council tax, bank statements.., these bills must be dated within the last 3 months and show the same registered address as your driving licence, (we are unable to accept store card bills, mobile phone bills or other such bills) .

  • Official Photo identification (such as your passport or shot gun licence)

  • Each horses third party liability insurance certificate (or BHS Gold Membership card for the owner of each horse)

  • Your horses passports  (it is illegal to transport a horse without it, for new horses please contact us)

  • Please contact us for a copy of our full terms and conditions which you will be required to sign before the release of any trailer

  • £150/ CC deposit bond (returned to you on safe and undamaged return of the horsebox)

  • All original documents will be required on collection of the horsebox, you will be requested for your full registered name and address and driving licence number and passport number on booking. 

  • You will need to provide a suitable tow vehicle, and we will need to see the certificate of insurance for the tow vehicle

  • Please note, the trailer is not insured by us whilst being towed by you, you must make sure your vehicle insurance covers you to tow a trailer, it is also an idea to check that any recovery services you have for your motor vehicle cover you whilst towing a trailer with livestock aboard.

  • you will be required to clean the trailer of droppings & feed stuff before its return, if you are not going to be able due to circumstances, please note that there is a standard £20.00 valet charge.

Payment & Reservations: We accept most major credit cards, pay pal, chq or cash.  A 50% no refundable deposit is required to reserve a trailer for the dates you require, if more than 1 month in advance, if less than 1 month prior to your required dates full payment is taken at the time of reservation.  Please do make your reservations early to avoid disappointment, as our hire service is becoming incredibly busy.
